Radiesse is a type of latex-free, apyrogenic soft tissue filler made of 70% of artificial calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. The gel carrier is composed of smooth aqueous carboxymethylcellulose, glycerin, and high-purity water. This type of filler is classified as a biostimulator, as it increases the production of collagen fibres to reinforce skin strength from the inside.
