It also goes by the generic name hylan G-F 20 and contains hylan A and hylan B polymers. It helps ease pain and improve mobility in the joints by replacing lost synovial fluid, returning lubrication and cushion to the pained joints. One 2ml dose of Synvisc contains 16mg of hylan polymers. The solution also contains sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, and water.
What is Synvisc One?
Synvisc One is a single-use injectable of hylan G-F 20. It is the same formulation as Synvisc, but it combines three doses of Synvisc. The biggest difference between Synvisc vs Synvisc One is in the doses and treatment method.

The only difference between Synvisc vs Synvisc One is in the dosage included in one syringe. The recommended dose of Synvisc is one single injection into the joint.
