WHAT IS ELLANSE E?
Ellanse E is a non-pyrogenic, latex-free, sterile gel manufactured by AQTIS Medical. Suspended in a carboxymethylcellulose gel carrier, this injectable cosmetic filler contains polycaprolactone microspheres.
The use of Polycaprolactone microspheres provide a high elasticity and viscosity, giving the filler long-lasting results. This unique formulation has advanced lifting and filling capabilities, leaving your patient’s skin smooth, radiant, and more youthful looking than ever.
Ellanse E also has a great safety record and is of non-animal origin, so pretreatment allergy testing is not necessary. The package comes with 2 prefilled 1ml syringes.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Ellanse E is an excellent option for patients looking for longer lasting and amazing results. This incredible dermal has the ability to correct lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. Doctors may use it to help reduce the appearance of smile lines, marionette lines, forehead lines, and other skin depressions on the face. Use as an alternative to rhinoplasty to contour the bridge of the nose, or to augment lip volume. As well, it aims to replenish your patient’s natural collagen levels.
As it stimulates collagen production, clients can enjoy fresher looking skin for much longer than other dermal fillers.
It is suitable for both men and women who want to reduce the signs of aging.
HOW DOES THIS DERMAL FILLER WORK?
Collagen levels begin to deplete as the body ages, which leads to a loss of skin elasticity and causes the skin to sag. This injectable solution uses neocollagenesis in order to encourage the body to start producing its own natural collagen. As the skin starts to regain optimal collagen levels, it restores its structure and thickness, increases volume, and reduces the appearance of folds and wrinkles.
Ellanse E is not from animal or human origin, so there is no need for pretreatment allergy tests. Due to its unique formula, this filler allows you and your patient to choose the duration of the results, depending on the patient’s needs.
HOW TO INJECT?
You should only administer this injectable solution if you are a licensed and trained professional.
Discuss the option of an anesthetic prior to treatment. An anesthetic can reduce discomfort during the procedure. Attach a 27G needle to the syringe using the Luer lock fitting. Inject the filler subdermally using the tunneling technique and a 1:1 correction ratio. After treatment, massage the area to create uniform distribution. Inform you patient of any aftercare instructions to help speed up the healing process.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Ellanse E is a non-permanent filler with long-lasting results. As time goes on, the gel will be absorbed into the surrounding tissues. Results are immediate after the initial treatment, although the area will need to be completely healed before the full effect is visible.
After injected, results of this amazing solution can last up to 4 years, depending on the patient’s lifestyle and age, as well as your recommendation of treatment.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Ellanse E is a very safe procedure for the correction of facial fat loss, as well as for treating facial folds and wrinkles. The filler is naturally broken down by the body, and the microspheres encourage connective tissue restoration.
Ellanse E has an excellent worldwide safety profile, and is very well-tolerated by most patients.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
Ellanse E is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, latex-free, fully bioresorbable implant. The main component of which is polycaprolactone microspheres, a well-known soft polymer. Polycaprolactone microspheres stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, and the filler itself is absorbed into the body over time. Even after the filler has broken down, the restored collagen repairs connective tissues and increases skin strength.
