What is Perfectha Complement?

One segment of Sinclair Pharma’s line of Perfectha cosmetic fillers, Perfectha Complement was designed as a follow-up treatment to prior hyaluronic filler treatments. Now, practitioners are enabled to rework previous results, ensuring total perfection. Furthermore, its 0.8ml syringes allow patients to very minimally enhance their natural appearance—without wasting any excess product.

Perfectha Complement is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel of non-animal origin at a concentration of 20mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline. This dermal filler has been classified as both non-cytotoxic and biologically safe.

The Perfectha line of fillers is manufactured at a state-of-the-art laboratory in France. Its biocompatibility and performance are clinically proven, with each product following compliance guidelines for all safety standards of dermal fillers. With more than 10 years of clinical use and 2.8 million syringes sold worldwide, Perfectha has established itself as a leader in this segment of the aesthetics market.

This cosmetic filler was crafted with both practitioners and their patients in mind. This is exemplified by Perfectha Complement’s excellent flow properties, which make it easy for practitioners to inject, and less painful for patients. What’s more, its slow and uniform degradation are imperative in achieving desired results: now, patients may enjoy their great new look without worry of harsh or sudden deterioration.

Each box of Perfectha Complement contains one prefilled, 0.8ml syringe. It should be stored away from sunlight, between 2°C and 30°C. It should not be frozen, and refrigeration is not required.

Since 1971, Sinclair Pharma has been working to improve the appearance and confidence of its patients, creating undisputed value for its network of shareholders and healthcare providers. As a leading specialist in aesthetic dermatology, Sinclair places a strong emphasis on physician training, safety, and, most importantly, product quality.

What is it used for?

Perfectha Complement allows practitioners to refine and refresh the results of previous hyaluronic acid-based dermal treatments. What’s more, with its 0.8ml syringes, this injectable solution reduces the waste of unused filler.

This face filler is injected into the superficial dermis and is used for retouching and alterations following treatments such as botulinum toxins or facial peels. With its volumizing effects and immediate results, this facial filler is a wonderful choice for any patient that desires a natural-looking outcome.

How does this dermal filler work?

Perfectha Complement is crafted using innovative E-brid Technology, which minimizes the effects of hyaluronidase and oxidation in the body with its higher number of covalent bonds. Most notably, this slows down enzymatic degradation, allowing the gel to remain longer in the skin. With its immediate effects, it also reduces the risk of overcorrection and gives the desired volume with a small amount of gel.

The hyaluronic acid present in Perfectha Complement’s unique formula binds to water molecules in the dermis. This fills out any creases in the skin, smoothing out lines and reducing wrinkles instantly for a naturally refreshed look.

Moreover, this facial filler has a low extrusion force, making for a smoother injection procedure. It also features a Hyaluronic Acid Polymer Solution, which acts as a lubricant agent, as well as a controlled particle size and thin wall needle. This enables the gel to have a regular flow, eliminating discomfort during the injection process.

How to inject

Prior to using Perfectha Complement, the intended site must be properly cleansed and disinfected. To ensure patient safety, only an authorized, properly trained medical practitioner should administer this cosmetic filler.

Before beginning the injection process, depress the plunger rod carefully until a small droplet is visible at the tip of the needle. Then, inject the product slowly and gently into the dermis. Injection techniques may vary according to both the quantity of solution administered, as well as the treatment area.

Overcorrection should be avoided at all costs, and any defects should be fully amended during each treatment session. After injection, gently massage the treated area. If any blanching of the skin is observed, the whitened area should be massaged gently until it returns to its normal hue.

This face filler should not be injected into inflamed, infected, or diseased areas. What’s more, it should never be injected into the bloodstream, as this may lead to ischemia, embolization, or infarction.

For one week after treatment, the patient should avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. The patient should not use makeup for up to 12 hours following the injection. Once the appointment is complete, discard any remaining filler and dispose of used needles appropriately.

How long does it last?

Perfectha Complement has been shown to last between 4 and 6 months. However, this may vary depending on the injection site, patient’s age, and practitioner’s preferred injection technique.

Is this product safe?

Perfectha Complement has been comprehensively tested to ensure patient safety. However, certain individuals should avoid the use of this product, including those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the age of 18. Furthermore, those with allergies to hyaluronic acid, a history of autoimmune disease, epilepsy, and porphyria should not use dermal fillers.

It should be noted that patients who present an active skin pathology, inflammation, or lesion are not suitable for this treatment. What’s more, those who have recently undergone skin surface treatments, including laser treatment and dermabrasion, should not use fillers.

Perfectha Complement side effects

The use of Perfectha Complement may result in minor injection-related reactions, including swelling and pain. However, these side effects generally resolve themselves within one week post-injection. A full list of side effects can be found in the product pamphlet.

Possible adverse effects:

  • Allergy

What is it made of?

Perfectha Complement is formulated using hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally within the body. Hyaluronic acid has an incredible ability to bind with and retain water molecules, making it a necessary component in the maintenance of hydrated, volumized, and youthful skin.

As the skin ages, its hyaluronic acid content greatly depletes. This causes a visible loss of skin’s elasticity, smoothness, and volume, creating a sallow, wrinkled, tired-looking visage. By injecting hyaluronic acid back into the skin, it appears more plump, hydrated, and radiant.
