ZO® EXFOLIATING CLEANSER

ZO Exfoliating Cleanser is a dual-action skincare product with cleansing and exfoliating actions. This product is designed by the world-renowned dermatologist, Dr. Zein Obagi. It is one of several products within his medical grade skincare line, ZO Skin Health. This exfoliating cleanser comes in a 200ml tube. It removes excess oil without drying the skin.

ZO Exfoliating Cleanser contains jojoba esters and encapsulated vitamin E.

Jojoba esters are the hydrogenated product of jojoba oil. Fully hydrogenated jojoba esters are small beads used for exfoliation. This ingredient works to exfoliate dead skin cells. Jojoba esters are gentle and do not irritate the skin.

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is an antioxidant that protects against free radical damage. Free radicals are reactive and result in oxidative stress. Oxidative stress damages parts of the cells. Free radicals are unstable molecules that cause damage.

There are possible side effects that could occur with the use of this product.

Some of these effects can be avoided by wearing sunscreen and protective clothing.
