What is Perfectha Derm?

Part of Sinclair Pharma’s Perfectha Derm line, Perfectha Derm uses the cosmetic abilities of hyaluronic acid to restore skin’s volume and youth. It is comprised of a cross-linked, hyaluronic acid gel of bacterial origin. What’s more, this facial filler has been labelled as both naturally safe and non-cytotoxic.

This long-lasting cosmetic filler provides optimal results with low injection volume. It is a widely-acknowledged favourite for both practitioners and patients: its highly elastic properties makes it a dream for practitioners to inject, while its slow deterioration allows patients to enjoy its fantastic results results for extended periods of time.

The Perfectha range of products is manufactured in France by Sinclair Pharma. Its highly effective performance has been clinically demonstrated, and it is compliant to all international guidelines imposed on dermal fillers. Backed by over 10 years of clinical use and the global sale of 2.8 million syringes, this innovative line has proven itself to be a game changer in the cosmetics industry.

Every package of Perfectha Derm contains one 1mL syringe, as well as two sterile 30G½” needles. This dermal filler is to be stored between 2 and 30°C, away from sunlight and freezing or hot temperatures.

From its establishment in the early 1970s, Sinclair Pharma has strove to improve both the inner and outer beauty of its patients, providing innate value for medical practitioners and investors alike. A leader in aesthetic dermatology, Sinclair holds all tenets of patient safety in mind, with quality, physician education and medical training at the forefront of its operations.

What is it used for?

Perfectha Derm works to correct medium facial lines and glabellar lines, as well as improve and augment lip contouring. It restores volume and fullness to the skin, offering a beautiful, healthy, and plumped finish. Immediate results and revitalizing effects make Perfectha Derm a top contender for any individual who longs for a rejuvenated, natural look.

How does this dermal filler work?

Perfectha Derm’s unique, hyaluronic acid-based formula fixes itself to water molecules in the dermis, filling out lines, wrinkles, and creases in the skin immediately. With this, it gives the skin a natural, hydrated, and refreshed look.

What’s more, Perfectha Derm features Sinclair Pharma’s E-brid Technology. With a higher number of covalent bonds, this formulation diminishes the effects of both oxidation and hyaluronidase in the skin, slowing enzymatic degradation and allowing the patient’s desired effect to last longer.

This dermal filler has some of the best elasticity available today, allowing for incredible plumping and lifting post-injection results. What’s more, its immediately-visible effects reduce potential for overcorrection, offering patients their desired look with a minute amount of filler.

Additionally, it has a low extrusion force. When combined with its innovative, lubricating HA Polymer Solution, this makes for a smoother injection process. Plus, measured particle size and a thin-walled needle also enable the injectable solution to flow regularly, reducing any possible discomfort, pain, or soreness during injection.

How to inject

Before Perfectha Derm is injected, the place of injection must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. What’s more, only a qualified, authorized practitioner should dispense this filler, as this will ensure patient safety.

To begin the injection, push the plunger rod slightly until a small bead of gel emerges from the needle’s tip. Next, inject the filler carefully and slowly into the desired site. Injection techniques are variable based upon both the treatment area and the amount of solution used.

Avoid overcorrection, and fully adjust any apparent defects during the treatment process. Lightly rub the injection site to properly disperse the gel. If the skin begins to blanch, superficial injection has occurred; to remedy this, massage the blanched area gently until normal tone is restored.

Please note that Perfectha Derm should never be applied to areas that appear infected, inflamed, or diseased. Further, spots that have previously been injected with non-hyaluronic filler should be avoided, as this may cause an unwanted reaction. Finally, intravascular injections should be avoided at all costs, as this may cause serious health issues to occur.

Following treatment, all patients should avoid coming into contact with extreme temperatures. Makeup application should also be evaded for 12 hours post-injection.

When the injection is completed, dispose of any remaining injectable solution and used needles in appropriate containers—failure to do so may result in personal harm or injury.

How long does it last?

Perfectha Derm should last between 6 months and one year, depending on the patient’s age, the treated area, and the practitioner’s injection techniques.

Is this product safe?

Perfectha Derm has been meticulously tested to guarantee the safety and satisfaction of patients. That being said, certain people should not use these fillers under any circumstances. Those who are allergic to hyaluronic acid or have epilepsy, porphyria, or autoimmune disease should not use this face filler. Underage, pregnant, or breastfeeding, individuals should avoid this injectable solution, as well.

Patients presenting inflammation or an active skin pathology are also unsuitable for treatments of this sort. Those who have recently experienced skin surface treatments, like skin peels, dermabrasion, and laser treatment, should avoid the use of hyaluronic acid treatments, as they may react poorly.

Perfectha Derm Side effects

Using Perfectha Derm may cause minor reactions at the injection site, including pain and bruising. However, these should cease to exist within one week of the patient’s initial appointment.

Other common side effects include:

  • Increased sensitivity
  • Swelling
  • Itching
  • Cutaneous Erythema

Possible adverse effects include:

  • Oedema
  • Allergy
  • Granulomas
  • Haematomas

What is it made of?

Perfectha Derm is made from hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is able to bind to and hold water molecules, helping the skin to remain hydrated, plump, and youthful.

Unfortunately, as the skin ages, its natural levels of hyaluronic acid fall drastically. This results in a marked loss of smoothness, elasticity, and volume in the face, creating wrinkled skin. By adding hyaluronic acid into the skin—such as that found in Perfectha Derm—the area appears more radiant, plump, and moisturized.
