Belotero Lips Shape with Lidocaine is a cosmetic injectable used in non-surgical lip augmentation treatments. This product is part of a duo of lip fillers (known as the Belotero Lips range) meant to be used together to add fullness and create definition. This lip filler is indicated for submucosal injection into the body of the lip where it adds volume to the tissue, creating fuller and plumper lips.
This lip filler contains non-animal, cross-linked hyaluronic acid (25.5 mg/ml) with 0.3% lidocaine, a local anesthetic agent that reduces procedure pain. It comes in the form of a sterile non-pyrogenic gel in a physiological phosphate buffer (pH 7).
Treatment with Belotero Lips Shape with Lidocaine is extremely safe and usually well-tolerated. Common side effects are limited to injection-related procedures.
These effects are usually mild and transient, commonly subsiding within a week.
The patient should report any side effects that persist for more than one week as they may require medical attention. This may not be the complete list of side effects, refer to the product’s package insert for more information.
