TEOSYAL® PURESENSE DEEP LINES

Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines is a sterile, transparent, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic injectable gel made of cross-linked, non-animal hyaluronic acid. This unique formula also contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride by mass, which aids in relieving pain and discomfort at the injection site. Manufactured in Switzerland by Teoxane Laboratories, this cosmetic filler is suitable for the treatment of deep facial wrinkles, vertical lip lines, cheek augmentation, and the restoration of facial structure.

Each box of Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines contains 2 prefilled 1mL syringes, 2 sterile 27G½” needles for each syringe, and 2 traceability labels. This filler should be kept out of direct sunlight, and stored between 2 and 25°C. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the packaging.

Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines is indicated for restoring the shape and structure of the face; correcting deep facial wrinkles, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines; filling in facial hollows created by lipoatrophy; and defining the facial features.

This cosmetic filler is made with hyaluronic acid, a compound found naturally within the human body. In the dermis, this chemical works to add moisture and volume to cells, giving the skin a youthful, smooth look.

Unfortunately, through the ageing process, hyaluronic acid is lost. This causes the facial features to hollow out, become dry, and experience creasing. However, through the use of Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines, this lost hyaluronic acid is replaced. By binding with moisture in the skin, this solution adds volume and hydration to aged skin, offering it a healthier, younger appearance.

Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines also features lidocaine, which provides patients with improved levels of comfort during treatment. Specifically, this anaesthetic treats any minor discomfort stemming from cosmetic injections, decreasing pain by momentarily numbing the treated area.

Only licensed medical practitioners who are properly trained in injection techniques may administer this filler. This will ensure that patients receive the results they desire, without unwanted or harmful side effects.

At the beginning of the appointment, patients must be asked about their medical history, warned about any side effects, and educated about the outcome of treatment with Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines. Additionally, the area to be treated must be thoroughly cleansed with an antiseptic solution to prevent infection.

Please note that the injection process must be completed using the needles supplied with the syringes.

Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines is to be injected slowly into the deep dermis using the linear threading injection technique. If the injection occurs too deep in the dermis, results will not be visible, while too superficial an injection may result in undesired correction. The volume of gel to be injected depends upon the level of correction required for each patient. However, it is recommended not to exceed 3ml per session.

This treatment should take between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the site of injection. The results will be noticeable immediately following the procedure, leaving the patient’s skin hydrated, volumised, and smooth.

After treatment, the patient should not wear makeup for 12 hours. Additionally, they should avoid extreme temperatures for 1 week. Please note that all needles and gel should be discarded after each treatment session.

Generally, results from treatment with Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines last for 9 months. However, this depends on several factors, including the patient’s skin type, the severity of their wrinkles, the type of injection, and the volume of product injected.

While Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines is considered to be a safe cosmetic treatment, some patients should not use it. Namely, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and children should avoid the use of this dermal filler, as its effects have not been tested on these populations.

This treatment is not suitable for patients with cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at the treatment site, or those who have undergone chemical peels or laser treatments. Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines should never be used for the correction of superficial wrinkles, for injections in the eyelids, or for non-intradermal injections.

Additionally, patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, or amide-type local anaesthetics; a history of anaphylactic shock; autoimmune or heart diseases; hepatocellular insufficiency; epilepsy; porphyria; or who are taking beta blockers should not use this dermal filler.

Please note that due to possible interactions with other fillers, Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines should not be injected into sites that already contain implants.

Generally, patients react quite well to this highly biocompatible filler. However, some minor side effects have been know to occur at the injection site. These are often very mild in nature, and should resolve themselves within 1 week of injection. Severe side effects are very rare with the proper use of Teosyal PureSense Deep Lines, and should be reported immediately to a medical professional.

• Inflammatory reactions, including erythema, oedema, and pain at the point of injection

• Dyschromia

• Formation of abscesses, indurations, or nodules
• Migration of the implant
