WHAT IS RESTYLANE LYFT?
Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane, comes in the form of a sterile, transparent gel made from NASHA, or non-animal, stabilized hyaluronic acid. Manufactured by Q-Med AB, this specific form of hyaluronic acid is created by fermenting streptococci bacteria, lowering the risk of any allergic reactions in patients.
Restylane Lyft’s formula is thicker than that of normal Restylane, making it suitable for facial augmentation through deep injection into skin tissues. It works to correct deep lines and wrinkles, enhance the lips, and contour any facial folds.
Each package of Restylane Lyft comes complete with 1 prefilled 1ml syringe, 2 sterile 29G½” needles, a package insert, and a patient record label. To avoid premature product degradation, it should not be stored past temperatures of 25°C and should be protected from freezing and sunlight.
The Restylane brand is one of the most popular dermal fillers on the market, and has been used by doctors in over 15 million treatments since 1996.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Use this hyaluronic acid-based gel to treat severe facial folds, as it is a thick formula that is suitable for injection deep into the skin’s tissues. The filler features larger gel particles than other Restylane injectables, allowing it to correct and treat facial folds that don’t respond to other treatments.
Use Restylane Lyft to shape facial contours, including the cheeks. Doctors use it to decrease fine lines around the lips, forehead, nose, and mouth; correct nasolabial folds; soften acne scars; and improve hollows around the eyes.
HOW DOES THIS DERMAL FIILER WORK?
As the skin ages, it loses its natural hyaluronic acid content. As a result, wrinkles and facial lines may begin to appear. As the ageing process continues, the natural fat cells around the cheeks also begin to deteriorate, resulting in lost volume. This dermal filler is specially designed to add fullness back into the mid-face area and the cheeks.
When injected deep into the skin tissue, this formula’s hyaluronic acid retains moisture, working to restore volume and hydration. This process supports the skin and reduces wrinkles, also restoring the volume to areas like the chin and the cheeks.
Your patients should see their skin texture improve immediately after injection. When injected into the deep dermis, Restylane Lyft immediately adds volume to the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and filling in facial hollows.
HOW TO INJECT
To avoid serious complications, this injectable solution must be administered by a trained, certified medical professional. It should be injected deep into the skin tissue with a thin, fine needle.
As previously mentioned, Restylane Lyft is formulated with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is produced by the body. The hyaluronic acid in this product is cross-linked chemically in order to delay degradation of the gel. Please note that allergy testing is not necessary for most patients due to this filler’s non-animal origin.
HOW LONG DOES THIS FACE FILLER LAST?
Restylane Lyft has been found to last between 6 and 9 months. However, the longevity of this filler depends on body composition, the patient’s age, the treatment area, and the amount of product used.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Restylane Lyft is a perfectly safe cosmetic filler that has been tested and approved for use in corrections to the mid-face area. In order to minimise possible side effects, patients should stop taking any anti-inflammatory medications, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or any blood thinning supplements, including vitamin E, fish oil, St. John’s Wort, or gingko, prior to receiving injections.
Patients that are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the age of 18 should avoid these injections.
RESTYLANE LYFT SIDE EFFECTS

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
Restylane Lyft is made from Q-Med’s NASHA technology. Hyaluronic acid is incredibly effective at binding to and retaining water molecules, with an ability to hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. With this, it works to volumise and hydrate the skin, nourishing the dermis.
As the ageing process continues, the body loses its natural levels of hyaluronic acid. This may result in volume loss, dehydration, and the onset of wrinkles, creating tired, aged skin. Through hyaluronic acid injections, however, the skin may be replenished and volumised, creating a youthful, healthful appearance and feel.
