AZZALURE® is a botulinum toxin type A injectable treatment designed to temporarily relax facial muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It works by blocking acetylcholine release, preventing muscle contractions. This effect is temporary, with results typically lasting for several months. AZZALURE® is specifically used to treat moderate to severe glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows) and lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet).

AZZALURE® 2 vials - Packaging and Ingredients
AZZALURE® is provided in a sterile, single-use vial containing a white powder for reconstitution before injection.
Packaging Details:
- Supplied in packs of 1 or 2 vials.
- Each vial contains 125 Speywood units of botulinum toxin A.
- The vial must be reconstituted before injection.
Ingredients:
- Botulinum toxin type A (active substance).
- Human albumin (200 g/L) – Stabilizing agent.
- Lactose monohydrate – Excipient for formulation stability.
AZZALURE® 2 vials - Indications
AZZALURE® is indicated for the temporary reduction of:
- Glabellar lines – Vertical frown lines between the eyebrows.
- Lateral canthal lines – Crow’s feet wrinkles around the eyes.
Contraindications:
- Allergy to Clostridium botulinum toxin A or any component.
- Infection at the injection site.
- Neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis or Eaton Lambert Syndrome.
Common Side Effects:
- Glabellar lines:
- Very common (≥10%) – Injection site redness, swelling, bruising, headache.
- Common (1-10%) – Drooping eyelid, facial paralysis, dry or watery eyes.
- Uncommon (0.1-1%) – Vision disturbances, dizziness, allergic reactions.
- Lateral canthal lines:
- Common (1-10%) – Eyelid swelling, bruising, headache, drooping eyelid.
- Uncommon (0.1-1%) – Dry eye.
AZZALURE® 2 vials - Administration Technique and Storage
AZZALURE® should be administered by qualified medical professionals following correct dilution and injection techniques.
Administration Guidelines:
- Injected intramuscularly at specific facial sites.
- Glabellar lines – 50 Speywood units total, with 10 units per 5 injection points.
- Lateral canthal lines – 30 Speywood units per side (total 60 units).
- The minimum interval between treatments is 12 weeks.
Storage Instructions:
- Unopened vials – Store at 2° to 8°C (36° to 46°F).
- Reconstituted solution – Use immediately after preparation.
Do not freeze the product.
