Indications:
- Contraception:
- 150 mg intramuscular injection every 3 months.
- First injection should be administered within 5 days of the menstrual cycle start.
- Provides immediate contraceptive protection when administered correctly.
- Endometriosis:
- 50 mg weekly or 100 mg every two weeks.
- Treatment typically lasts at least 6 months.
- Cancer Treatment:
- Breast cancer: 500 mg daily for 4 weeks, then 500–1000 mg weekly.
- Other hormone-sensitive cancers (kidney, endometrial): 600–1200 mg per week, followed by 450–600 mg every 1–4 weeks.
Contraindications:
