EMLA™ 5x5g is a topical anesthetic cream containing a eutectic mixture of local anesthetics—lignocaine (lidocaine) 25 mg/g and prilocaine 25 mg/g. It provides temporary numbing of the skin to minimize discomfort during medical and cosmetic procedures.
