What is Perfectha Deep filler?

Perfectha Deep is an injectable dermal filler that is formulated and manufactured by ObvieLine, a renowned French pharmaceutical company which is now a subsidiary of Sinclair Pharma. This soft tissue filler is made of hyaluronic acid harvested from biotechnologically modified bacterial cultures. These cultures are fermented under strict laboratory setting. Following extraction and purification, the hyaluronic acid molecules are cross-linked with each other using E-brid® Technology. This modernistic technology helps to form strong covalent bonds between and within the molecules, resulting in less of a need for a chemical reticulating agent, such as 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE). This biodegradable and bioresorbable implant is composed of 20mg/ml cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with 8,000 particles/ml. Each box of Perfectha Deep comes with 1 prefilled 1ml syringe, 2 single-use, sterile 27G½” needles, 2 traceability labels, and a product information pamphlet.

What is Perfectha Deep filler used for?

As the name suggests, Perfectha Deep is indicated for the treatment of deep lines such as nasolabial folds. It is also suitable for reconstructing the facial contours such as the jawline, cheek, and chin areas for well-defined, youthful features. In addition, the filler can be used to non-surgically augment the shape and size of lips according to the patient’s preference. Prior to the treatment session, the patient’s medical history (underlying diseases present, history of previous cosmetic treatments done, medications and supplements taken, etc.) should be assessed, so as to reduce the risk of serious reactions. A complete facial assessment should also be conducted to determine the severity of the skin concern and the best treatment plan for the patient. Only a certified healthcare practitioner should administer the filler into the problematic areas via deep dermis injections until they are adequately corrected. This filler can last between 8 to 12 months; nevertheless, the residence time is affected by the patient’s age, health status, severity of skin condition, and lifestyle habits. Patients can always opt for more filler injections once the initial aesthetic results wear off.
