WHAT IS FILORGA ART FILLER LIPS W/ LIDOCAINE?
Filorga Art Filler Lips is a soft tissue filler designed to shape, volumise, and hydrate the lips. Made of 3 different types of hyaluronic acid using Tri-Hyal Technology, this injectable gel provides the therapeutic actions of sculpting, volumising, and smoothing. The hyaluronic acid concentration of 25mg/mL ensures durable results that can withstand various movements. Since the lips are very sensitive due to a complex network of blood capillaries and nerves, the formula includes 0.3% lidocaine to provide pain-relief. The hyaluronic acid gel is packed in a 1mL syringe. A box of Filorga Art Filler Lips provides you with 2 preloaded syringes, 4-27G½” disposable needles, traceability labels, and a product leaflet. This filler implant is part of the Filorga Filler Medical range designed and manufactured by Filorga.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Patients unsatisfied with the shape and volume of their lips can benefit greatly from this dermal filler. Filorga Art Filler Lips plumps and defines lip size, while dry, chapped lips can be effectively hydrated.
HOW DOES THIS FILLER WORK?
Compared to other parts of the face, the lips are only covered by a thin layer of skin. In addition, the blood supply and complex nerve branches in the lips make them very sensitive. While the size and shape of lips are influenced by genetics, they can alter with age. During the ageing process, the quantity and activity of the cells become sluggish. This leads to the loss of hyaluronic acid and collagen, making the lips look thin and unattractive. As well, lifestyle habits such as smoking can cause small vertical lines to form on the lip borders. When hyaluronic acid is injected, it instantly plumps up and volumises the lips.
If your patients are on the lookout for the perfect pout, they can opt for Filorga Art Filler Lips injections. It is uniquely blended with 3 versions of hyaluronic acid using advanced Tri-Hyal Technology.
The amount of cross-linked, long chains of hyaluronic acid gives a malleable texture to this lip filler. Hence, the patient’s lip shape can be easily altered to a more desirable shape. Freely existing hyaluronic acid molecules provide deep hydration to cracked lips. As a result, patients can enjoy voluptuous and sensuous-looking lips instantly. Medical practitioners’ ease of use is also a priority. Its syringe is ergonomically-designed with wide thumb base, firm plunger, and comfortable finger grip. Doctors can then perform precise lip augmentation treatments comfortably for the best results.
HOW TO INJECT IT?
Though lip augmentation may be a minor procedure, it is still considered as a medical procedure and must be carried out according to strict injection guidelines. Only certified medical practitioners with expansive experience in filler injection techniques are permitted to use this medical device legally. Doctors should obtain the patient’s medical history to make sure that they can safely administer this filler. Start the treatment session by removing any makeup and sanitising the lip area. Inject Filorga Art Filler Lips slowly via bolus or retrotracing techniques. Advise patients to maintain proper hygiene of the treated area for swift recovery.
HOW LONG DOES THIS FILLER LAST?
Due to the high content of cross-linked long chains of hyaluronic acid, Filorga Art Filler Lips can last for longer than other lip fillers. Nevertheless, the cosmetic injectable will be absorbed by the surrounding cells as it is biodegradable. Patients can obtain more lip augmenting injections once the volumising effects wear off. Inform them that the results vary on an individual basis.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Filorga products are made in a highly-controlled manufacturing plant awarded with superior quality standards, such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14644 and ISO 13485. It is extracted and purified from a bacterial fermentation process, so that no harmful allergens are present in the gel. Once administered, patients face very little risk of adverse reactions. In fact, Filorga Filler Medical range products are well-tolerated without presenting granulomas (inflamed lumps).
