RESTYLANE® EYELIGHT™ is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable gel developed to correct infraorbital hollows (tear trough deformities) in adults over 21. Specifically formulated for the delicate under-eye region, this product contains 20 mg/mL of hyaluronic acid crosslinked with BDDE and 0.3% lidocaine for improved patient comfort during injection. It targets volume loss beneath the eyes, helping to reduce shadows and restore a refreshed, rested appearance with minimal downtime.

The gel is administered in the supraperiosteal plane using either a fine needle or a blunt-tip cannula. Clinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness with high subject satisfaction rates and sustained improvements lasting up to 12 months. RESTYLANE® EYELIGHT™ is supplied in a sterile, pre-filled disposable glass syringe with a luer-lock fitting and an attached label for patient records. Each syringe comes co-packaged with a 29G ½” needle, and is for single use only. The contents are sterile and non-pyrogenic.

Key ingredients:

RESTYLANE® EYELIGHT™ is indicated for volume enhancement of infraorbital hollows in patients 21 years or older. It improves the appearance of under-eye shadows caused by age-related fat and tissue loss.

Approved Indication:

Contraindications:

• • History of anaphylaxis, multiple severe allergies, or gram-positive bacterial protein allergies
  • Allergy to lidocaine or amide-type anesthetics
  • Presence of skin infections, inflammation, or vascular compromise in the treatment area
    

Common side effects:

• • Pain, tenderness, redness, bruising, swelling, lumps/bumps, and itching
  • Most adverse events were mild to moderate, with 77.5% considered tolerable
  • Duration typically lasted ≤7 days in 63.7% of cases
    

Rare but serious risks:

• • Vascular occlusion, visual impairment, ischemia, or skin necrosis

RESTYLANE® EYELIGHT™ should be administered by licensed healthcare professionals with experience in dermal filler injection techniques. The gel is injected using a 29G ½” needle or a 25–27G 1.5″ cannula, placed into the supraperiosteal plane. The recommended maximum dosage is 1 mL per side; if more is required, a touch-up session should be scheduled.

Injection techniques:

• • Linear threading, serial puncture, micro-bolus, and fanning
  • Aspiration is mandatory before injection to avoid intravascular placement
  • Common volumes: 1.2 mL initial, 1.0 mL touch-up, 1.0 mL retreatment
    

Post-treatment care:

• • Patients typically resume social activities within 4–12 hours
  • Avoid excessive heat, sun, UV exposure until redness/swelling resolves
    

Storage guidelines:

• • Store at temperatures up to 25°C (77°F)
  • Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight
  • Do not use if the packaging is damaged, opened, or expired
