Description

WHAT IS SILHOUETTE SOFT?

These biocompatible surgical sutures are made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and are intended for use in non-surgical facelift procedures. Manufactured by Sinclair Pharma, each device includes a PLLA thread with lactide glycolide cones, pre-mounted on 12 cm needles. The threads are available in configurations of 8, 12, or 16 cones to suit different treatment needs.

Each box contains 5 sterile packs, with 2 threads per pack. The product should be stored at 0–8°C, away from direct sunlight, to maintain its stability and effectiveness.

WHAT IS Silhouette Soft USED FOR?

Silhouette Soft is a minimally invasive, non-surgical lifting treatment designed to address sagging or wrinkled skin. The PLLA suture lifts and repositions the tissue, while bidirectional cones anchor the thread securely in place for optimal support.

It is commonly used to treat areas such as the eyebrows, cheeks and midface, jawline, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and the neck. Results are typically visible immediately, with continued improvement over time due to collagen stimulation.

This treatment is often referred to as a “thread lift,” “one-stitch facelift,” or “puppet facelift.”

SILHOUETTE SOFT INGREDIENTS

It consists of a biocompatible, biodegradable suture made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a substance known to stimulate collagen production. Attached to the suture are bidirectional cones, made from lactide glycolide, a copolymer composed of lactic and glycolic acids in an 82:18 ratio. These cones help to anchor the suture in place, enabling immediate lifting and long-term regenerative effects.

SILHOUETTE SOFT INSTRUCTIONS

Silhouette Soft is a regulated medical device intended for use only by licensed medical professionals with training in aesthetic procedures. Proper technique and planning are essential to ensure safe and effective results.

Procedure overview:

Begin with a comprehensive facial assessment to map out the ideal entry and exit points for suture placement.
After disinfecting the treatment area, use the attached needle to puncture the skin and insert the suture into the subcutaneous layer.
Advance the needle to the planned exit point and withdraw it, leaving the suture in place.
Cut off the needle, leaving a short segment of the suture exposed.
Repeat the process for each suture.
Apply gentle pressure while pinching the skin, allowing the bidirectional cones to anchor to the tissue.
Trim and discard any remaining exposed suture ends.

The full procedure typically takes around 30 minutes, and most patients can return to daily activities immediately afterward with minimal restrictions.

SILHOUETTE SOFT LONGEVITY

Silhouette Soft is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a material known for its long-lasting biostimulatory effects.
